CONDTROL Smart 70 Electro – Laser Distance Meter with Built-in Voltage Detector
CONDTROL Smart 70 Electro combines two tools in one housing: a laser distance meter and a voltage detector. The device is designed for indoor measurements and calculations, as well as for checking exposed wiring.The model is suitable for electricians, finishers, furniture installers and DIY enthusiasts. To take measurements and check wiring, all you need is one compact device.
Built-in Voltage Detector
Smart 70 Electro lets you quickly and safely check whether a wire is live. There is no need to touch the wire or use additional tools. The sensor is located in the fold-out end piece – simply bring it close to the wire.If the wire is live, a scale appears on the display. It fills up as you move closer to the wire. At the same time, the device gives a light and sound signal, so the test result is immediately clear.
The CONDTROL Smart 70 Electro detector operates in the range of 30–1000 V at a frequency of 40–60 Hz, which covers the frequency of household power grids. Three sensitivity levels are available:
• L1 – from 90 to 1000 V;
• L2 – from 60 to 1000 V;
• L3 – from 30 to 1000 V.
The higher the sensitivity level, the lower the voltage the detector can recognize. The function is intended for checking exposed wiring.
Measurements up to 70 Meters
Smart 70 Electro measures distances from 0.05 to 70 m with an accuracy of ±2 mm. This is sufficient for measurements in an apartment, private house, office or industrial premises. The result is displayed with a resolution of 1 mm.Tracking mode takes measurements continuously and records the maximum and minimum values. It helps you find the shortest distance to a wall or the longest diagonal of a room. The results of individual measurements can be added and subtracted, and the required values can be saved in the device's memory.
Area, Volume and Wall Area Calculation
CONDTROL Smart 70 Electro automatically calculates area and volume based on two or three measurements. The resulting areas and volumes can also be added to or subtracted from each other.A separate function calculates wall area from height and length. You can keep measuring without limits, and each new result is added to the previous one. The area of windows and door openings is subtracted from the total. This simplifies calculating the amount of paint, wallpaper, plaster and other finishing materials.
Inclinometer and Pythagoras Function
The built-in tilt sensor allows you to calculate the horizontal distance from a single measurement taken at an angle. Along with the result, the display shows the tilt angle, the measured distance and the vertical distance. The function is useful when it is not possible to aim the beam strictly horizontally.For indirect measurements, Smart 70 Electro offers three Pythagorean theorem modes: based on two or three auxiliary measurements. They help determine a height or length that cannot be measured directly with the beam because of an obstacle.
Four Reference Points
CONDTROL Smart 70 Electro measures from the front or rear edge of the housing, from the tripod thread or from the fold-out end piece. The fold-out end piece is convenient for measuring from corners and from the edges of openings. The 1/4-inch thread allows you to mount the distance meter on a tripod and take measurements without the device shifting in your hand.
Display, Housing and Power Supply
Smart 70 Electro is equipped with a backlit display. The main and additional lines show the result and intermediate values at the same time. The digits are easy to read in low light.The housing has an IP54 dust and water protection rating. It protects the device from dust and water splashes during renovation work. The dimensions are 106 × 41 × 27 mm and the weight is 97 g, so the distance meter is easy to carry in a pocket or pouch. It is powered by two alkaline AAA batteries, and the battery level is shown on the display.
