CONDTROL IDS — laser distance meter

The Industrial Distance Sensor (IDS-series) measures absolute distances up to 50 meters without contact. It can measure distance on natural surfaces with a 2 mm accuracy. The IDS can detect the position of hard to reach objects or those that may have very high surface temperature. Just as well it can also measure distances in hostile environment easily  and accurately.
The application of laser technology enables compact assembly, which allows to save space for its installation. The Industrial Distance Sensor consists of a rugged, aluminium housing with IP67 protection and can be operated at temperature within -20 °C...+60 °C. The excellent price-performance ratio is another advantage of IDS-series.
Electrical connection of the IDS is via a standard connector. A scalable analog output is available for measurement readings, providing a cost-efficient connection to any control system.
